A word about privacy

Introduction

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Kanbanier (Application) that was created by Numerance (Company) for mobile and desktop devices running iOS® or macOS® (Operating System). The Application manages Kanban Boards, a popular method to organize and track project or process work.

Principles

The Application is not specifically about, or in the business of, managing personal and private information. This does not mean that privacy and security do not concern you.

Recognizing that your work could be of a sensitive nature for various reasons, the Application offers storage options that match your needs to the extent supported by and limited to the Operating System. At present this includes local storage on a mobile device or desktop computer, iCloud®, and any third-party storage providers that you have installed and enabled to provide services through the Operating System. You are free to choose any of these options subject to availability, and to move your data from one type to another.

To store information the Application makes exclusive use of information-storage facilities provided by the underlying Operating System. These facilities are governed by the privacy policy/policies of the respective Operating System, devices and third-party services. See also the Apple Privacy Policy for more information about this.

The Company does not have access to any data stored by the Application, either physically or remotely. The Application does not transfer data to the Company automatically, nor does the Company trigger or have the ability to trigger any data transfer or manipulation from the Application. This includes personal, geographical, analytical or any other identifying information.

The information captured by the Application is the information that you enter in the course of using the Application, such as document names, task descriptions and settings, and whose purpose is to be displayed on the Kanban Boards in the Application.

The Application does not request, or require you to enter, personal information about you or others, and as such does not have the ability to process, analyze or otherwise use such information for identification.

By using the Application you consent to these principles, and by implication consent to any other related privacy policies mentioned above.
